I offer you a way to slow down your internal chatter and to get to know the extreme beliefs and feelings that you carry. Through my collaborative, nonpathologizing approach, you will gain a calmness and clarity that will empower you to new, more effective ways of relating to yourself, others and the world.

This approach allows you to get to know each “part” of yourself and provides you with a way to regulate emotions and improve problem solving skills.  Each “part” has its own perspective, feelings, memories, goals, and motivations. Many people who have been in traditional “talk therapy” previously find the transformational power of the IFS work brings about a whole new level of healing and change. The model is a great tool for being in a better relationship with your Self.

Family Therapy

Family issues may be addressed between two family members, or involve the participation of the whole family unit.  Family therapy may include, but is not limited to, parents (i.e. biological, adoptive, step-parent), children, grandparents, other extended family members, and/or any other pertinent or relevant members of the household or family unit. 


Frequent challenges faced in family therapy include: Family conflict and transitions, disagreements on parenting styles, single parent stressors, co-parenting conflict, divorce and remarriage stressors, blended family support, empty nesters and caregiver stress. 

Couples Therapy

Have you been experiencing problems with communication, tensions between togetherness and separateness, and/or difficulties with accepting each other’s differences?  


In couples therapy, I will help you and your partner to pay attention to the repetitive patterns that block beneficial communication and help each person to develop an internal understanding of remaining calm and clear while staying in good connection with the other person.   

I have successfully navigated couples when they experience conflict over decisions, feel misunderstood or unloved, engage in heated fights, and have intimacy and sexuality concerns.  In addition, I am able to assist couples who have gone through addiction, infidelity, relationship ruptures, and divorce.
